Why do people like to lean on their chairs?

I’ve always been wondering this because most of the time when I look around my classroom, there are always people leaning in some direction in their chairs (meaning backwards, to the left/right, or forwards) instead of sitting normally.
there’s no normal way to sit. people sit how they want.
people like being comfortable. some positions aren’t comfortable for different people.
have a nice day.
good question, i do it all the time, just don’t know why?
its more conftable
I like to live on the edge
it’s comfortable
a good waty to relax
theres no bed, sooo.. why not?
it’s a way of stretching ur back?
because it is really fun
Have you tried sitting in one position for 1+ hours? It’s not so easy for most people. I tend to shift position around every 15 minutes from fatigue of the previous position.
wow ..you sound a barrel of laughs π do you fold socks in your spare time ?
Its fun..when I was in school I always thought it was a rebellious thing to do because the teacher would yell at me to sit properly, but then I would lean backwards again. Plus sitting normally is boring.
they are just rebels
Because it’s fun!
Maybe they like flirting with danger π They are stuck in a seat so that’s the closest they can come for now.
My 11 year old says she does it to relax.
It’s comfortable
