whats wrong with me!!?
i just turned 19 and ive always loved going out with friends and getting my drink on. i recently tried to stop and that was going great until i went overseas! i would drink most nites of the week and would sometimes fall into deep comas, pass out and throw up out of no-where. sometimes i would be out drinking and wuld be fine and then the next thing i know ive just fallen off the bar stool and cant get up and i have all these ppl trying to help me and carrying me out. now that im back home i cant wait to start drinking again and its a thort that passes everyday!
i just want to be drunk again to laugh and have a good time.
am i turning into an alcoholic or am i just going thru a faze all teens go thru which will eventually pass?
hehe…im a girl

Ooh sweetheart! I am so glad that you are starting to see that your drinking is not normal. Those nights you described above- I could have written that about me. It’s really funny isn’t it?
I am going to get personal here, just for the chance that something I say may help you out a bit-
I thought it was a "phase" for me too, but I started realizing that deep down I knew that this was not a phase and that alcoholl really was not for me. I don’t know about you, but I felt almost like I had to get everyone else’s permission to classify myself as alcoholic and actually get sober. By God’s Grace, I started seeing that whether other people did not think of me as alcoholic did not matter. For me, one of the reasons I did not stop getting wasted was beause I did not want others to have doubt about where I was alcoholic or not. I am doing this for myself and no one else. Because my body, mind and soul deserves to be free of poison- I stopped drinking after I got on my knees and asked for help. I wasn’t a big believer but after that day my life changed.
take care hunny
xoxo
prolly just a faze but dont over do it
Could be either one, a phase or alcoholism setting in. Good luck, that’s some very risky behavior.
if the thing you look most forward to in a day is drinking, then you’ve got a problem. you’re obviously overdoing it, so get some therapy like an AA meeting. good luck and best wishes!
Thats awesome! Lucky guy.
hopefully a faze. but since you know it is wrong to be so drunk pace your self you don’t need to be stupid fall down drunk to enjoy the party!!!
First, you seem to need to be drunk to have a good time. That’s a problem. Second, you don’t know when or how to stop. That’s a big problem. If every time you went to the 7-11, you passed out and threw up, eventually you’d stop going to the 7-11. But you can’t stop drinking. That’s the textbook definition of alcoholism. It’s not a phase. Get help.
You can become and alcoholic by saturation. Try to modify your drinking. You don’t want to induce alcoholism. Once you’re there, there’s no turning back. Be very careful and try to figure out the underlining problem behind your drinking. You say you drink to smile, if you can’t smile without that Jack and Coke then you have a problem. Take it easy for a little bit.
Hey sweetie… you are having a bought of alcohol poisoning. Here in USA.. we have regulations on how much alcohol can be put into beer, wine, etc.. the alcohol content is usually listed on the product.. anyway overseas its not restricted. so, you are killing yourself. And why would you want to be an alcoholic…look around you in the bars sweetie.. Those old sops and bar flys are probably only 10 to 15 years older than you…do you view them as anyone you would want to be like? take a hard look darling.. It just is a waste brain cells… hang in there. we all go through the party stage. Just know when to quite.
Since you asked the question, I’d say that you know it’s already a problem.
I would say if your not already in the midst of alcoholism then you’re getting yourself there pretty quick. If you have to be drunk to have a good time, that is not good. Also if you are always passing out and throwing up then you obviously are going over your limit every time and are not able to recognize your limit. Which is also not a good sign. I would say get some help now before it gets worse. It could be a phase but alcohol poisoning is possible if you cannot recognize your limit and that is no joke. Just get the help now and you will be thankful later.
God loves you and you are precious to Him. Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation, and qualifying us to Heaven. Never miss Heaven for anything of this troubled world. Best wishes for happiness and Heaven!
If you think you might be an alcoholic, you probably are.
Alcoholism is a disease. It is in your genes. That is, it is an hereditary disease. Your body is allergic to alcohol. That is why all those things are happening to you.
If you want to laugh and have a good time, you need to quit drinking.
Attend some open Alcoholics Anonymous Speakers’ meetings. Listen to their stories and ask questions about what is happening to you.
