What does fresh blood in stool look like?

I know from the title this sounds like a silly question. But I have seen parts of my stool (solid stool, not diarhea) look red. Not the whole thing, not in one particular place, and I didn’t see a pattern. The red portion wasn’t any more liquid or solid than the rest of the stool. The water didn’t change color to red. If I see jelly bean sized parts of my stool as pinkish/red should I assume that this is blood or food? I ate Sushi, a Spicy Italian sub at subway, an Apple, and a Fiber one bar today if that helps. Only drank water.
BTW I am 28 years old and have had IBS my entire life if that matters.
bright red. If it’s excessive ask your doctor, but if it’s bright red, that is fresh blood like from a fresh hemorrhoid that has leaked a little (popped open) blood.
Like "Fresh Blood". (RED) Bright Red. Most likely from internal hemmeroids, or part of that spicy italian sub.
