What can I buy to protect my linoleum floors from being damaged from the kitchen chairs and table?
I have heard of some sort of little plastic things, but I don’t know what they’re called and where to find them. Basically, I am about to move my dinette set in the kitchen on the linoleum. There are four parsons chairs and each of the chair legs have a little hard black thing on the bottom. I think it’s a little black circle. The base of the table is stone (or that heavy material) and I want to make sure the floor doesn’t get damaged.
What can I buy and where do I get it from? Also, are there any other alternatives other than buying a 5×8 rug?

They’re called sliders and you can get them at Home Depot. You can also get felt strips but I like the sliders because they move furniture easier. I had a pedestal table with a large footprint so rather than buying a bunch of felt strips or sliders I bought a cheap piece of Plexiglas and used that. I think you can get that at HD as well. Since you don’t move your table much you could probably just use a small bathroom rug.
I don’t remember what they’re called either, but they sell them at home depot. Any of the sales people there could help you find them.
Also, I bought the plastic ones and didn’t like them (I have hardwood floors). I ended up exchanging them for the felt pads version.
I think they are called Moving Men.
Wal-Mart (and other similar stores) sell self-sticking felt discs for that very purpose.
they make prastic things u can put on the bottom of the legs of your chairs and table. or try cutting out felt and puting it under them.
They are called glides. They have nylon (or cork) buttons on the bottom that can slide without marking the floor. They fasten to the chair legs in a variety of ways (screws, spikes, slip-ons, etc) to match those chair legs.
