what color draperies would look nice?
maybe like an off white or cream, not too dark though. or you could play up your antique chair by going with a striped fabric that has the chairs color in it along with the off whit or cream. nuthing too dark because i think the other furniture is enough for the room. i think the striped would look pretty. thin or thicker stripes.
Purple or rust for contrast, chocolate or green to continue the dark woodsy colors.
To avoid getting too locked in to darks, go with something like gold-yellow with mossy green stripes or a burnt orange. Be sure to add toss pillows and decor items of the curtain colors to the room for a pulled-together look.
