hello
i want to re-design my room but instead of buying new furniture, i want to spray paint it.
can you spray paint black furniture (such as a desk, chair, headboard for your bed, and a dresser) to white and make it last? if so, how?
Hi,
the steps are simple: sand it (- first with a 250 grit sand paper, – wipe with a dry cloth, – then with a 120-140 grit sand paper, – repeat wiping), finish it and paint/spray it. Just take care: if you apply white on black, you may experience shades. This may happen even if your paint is of high quality. The only solution for this problem is to paint three layers. That should cover the paint underneath.

If you have the time, sure.
Sand it all enough to rough up all the surfaces, prime it all, and spray it white. If you do all the steps properly, use a good quality paint, with care it will last.
