How do I paint a table and chairs white?

I need to paint a table and some chairs white, i’m pretty sure they’re wood. It’s my first time and I’m doing it for someone else so I really don’t want to fuck up. Could someone please explain how I could do this efficiently without messing up?
edit*** I don’t think I will be able to spray paint, the supplies given to me will most likely be a paint brush and some white paint.
use spray paint. make sure to add newspaper all over the floor to not mess it up. of course, you sound like you don´t know much of what youre doing so i would suggest getting a proffesional to do it. also wear mouth covers, those chemicals are bad for you
