bedding/curtains for room with light blue walls and white furniture with brown chairs?
So I am in quite the dilemma. Recently my mother and I have decided that we want to makeover my bedroom. Without me knowing, she ordered me these chocolate brown chair thingers from pottery barn teen (http://www.pbteen.com/products/seat-to-sleep/?pkey=clounge-seating). I wouldn’t have chosen these chairs on my own, but I have them now and must incorporate them into my makeover plans. The tricky thing is that I have light blue walls and all my furniture except for my new chairs (bed, dresser, desk, mirror) is white. They are also chunky, they kind of look like this:http://www.potterybarn.com/products/francisco-bed/?pkey=call-beds. My bedroom is currently very childish with colors like purple and green and pink and I want to update my room to fit my style. I want to get new bedding and new curtains, but I’m stuck! I want my room to be more grown up and modern, but still funky and original. Can anybody help?!

The choice of chocolate brown to go with the blue walls and white furniture is actually really smart – decorators often use black (or brown) accents to anchor a room that has an airy color scheme to keep it from feeling too "floaty". The brown will keep your room from looking juvenile.
Check out the Dwell studio line at Target – it has some very modern looks. http://www.target.com/DwellStudio-Bedding-Collections-Designers/b/ref=br_items_viewall?ie=UTF8&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=404152011&searchRank=salesrank&searchPage=1&searchSize=150
