whole grains and loose stools !!?

I eat whole grains cereals and bars regularly…sometimes, my stools become very loose and I have to go to the bathroom immediately ! Is this cause by the whole grains?

Sometimes alot of a good thing is too much. Cut down on the cereal to maybe 2x a week. As far as the bars, I don’t think they have as much grain.

Not likely. Whole grains have fiber which should make your stools more firm. I would cut out fatty foods and see if that helps. You might also take a fiber tablet every day. If that doesn’t help, try a regiment of probotics, ( that’s the helpful bacteria that lives in your G I tract). If you can’t find any, eat yogurt for a week or so. Just be sure it has active culture on the label.
