We have a gorgeous 1985 38′ Chris Craft Catalina for sale that is fully loaded and marina maintained.this boat is immaculate inside and updated neutral coloured interior. It’s a condo on the water with berber carpet, wrap-around pullout sofa, counter bar and stools, full size refrigerator..king bed. in aft….and the list goes on. It is by far, the cleanest and in the best condition of any of the other 38′ C.C.Cs, The problem, is, it doesn’t seem to matter what the condition the other 38′CCCs 1985 are in Prices are all over the board from .000.00 to 129,000.00 with no rhyme or reason not reflecting their condition at all. We’ve lowered our price drastically because of the dollar. It is priced very fair, What’s going on with the sales agents, Can’t they advise their clients what their boat is really worth?????
Sorry just need to vent!!!!
yes, we know about people overseas… who are interested…they want all our bank info first…RIGHT!!!!
Oh, comeon…my questions is why are all the boats basically the same and still range from ,000. – 129,,000. And for your infomation, our friend just sold his for .900. after the boat show. It’s got way less than ours ahe is feeling really guilty about that. I think people just don’t know the value. I’d love to see this blue book because last I look our boat was assessed at !20.000.
By the way, our buddy’s boat is salt water too. and the buyer knows that.

We’ve been doing this for years…This is different this year. We’re not green at this…but there are nothing but lazy boat brokers. When we were looking for this boat, NOBODY could find one for us and we had cash ready. They were like gold. We found about 3 of them all priced around the same and all comparable…the asking price then was 9,000. – 9,000 / That was only 3 years ago
