we want to make a large window between the family room and kitchen and make a overhang bar that extends into the kitchen where we can sit with bar stools.Is that difficult and expensive.

i’m building a bar where bar stools will be used and wondered how much of an over hang is normal? it will have a normal formica counter top…. i’m afraid too much overhang will cause cracking if someone leans. thanks

bought an inexpensive cabinet with top & 2 doors. want to install a top with an overhang for bar stools. don’t know what to have made or use to make a top…ideas??
