I am wondering if asbestos was ever used in old furniture backing. I have just bought a old chair that has a fiberous brown material covering the springs could this be asbestos.

Office: white dust getting on desks, chairs, computers, other furniture and equipment. Causes? Ceiling tiles? HVAC system? Asbestos? Could this be harmful? Some employees are talking about respiratory problems: coughing, etc. solutions?
