Red wingback chairs with toile accent pillows- what color couch should we get? Dark or Light leather?

The wingback chairs will be on the opposite wall (in a small room). I also want to get the Crimson colored Waverly Pantry Plaid drapes in there (so a lot of red). I can’t decide what sofa/loveseat to get.

I would get a dark brown or burgundy leather couch.
is the wood on the chairs light or dark ? if dark get a darker sofa if lighter wood get a lighter sofa
Dark brown. Someone mentioned matching the wood stain on the wing back chairs and that was a good observation. I had a burgundy leather sofa and you can mix a lot of colors with it, but dark brown will look good with any color. It might look too cutesy if the sofa is burgandy. Mix it up a little with the dark brown; it will be more interesting . I love toile and I love mixing patterns. Good luck.
Sounds great, I think a dark would be better with all that red. But its really a matter of personal preference.
