question about bar stools…?

I need several bar stools for a bar that is 41" tall (i.e. the bottom ledge of the bar is 41" from the ground). Does anyone have an idea of how tall my bar stools need to be?
I am trying to order some online and I have found many that are 30" in height and that seems short…

I would say that 30 inches is a good height. If you sat down, you don’t want to be so high that your legs hit the bottom of the counter, or your so high that you have to slouch over to be closer to the top. i would say 30 is a good high.
That is perfect . You need anywhere from 29-31" from the floor to the seat of the stool. You need lotsa room for people to tuck their knees under the bar.
u might take regular chair and table an see what the different is an use that as rule thumb
figure on 10 – 12 inches from the top of the counter. 30 inch stools would be just about right. if you want to be sure prior to buying them online, buy a cheap 30" from target/wallmart (style doesn’t matter) bring it home and check height. then take it back for a refund & buy the ones you like online.
