Office: white dust getting on desks, chairs, computers, other furniture and equipment.
Causes? Ceiling tiles? HVAC system? Asbestos?
Could this be harmful? Some employees are talking about respiratory problems: coughing, etc.

anthrax
If they have a dropped ceiling, chances are they are using that space as a very large air duct. It’s common in office buildings. One way to find out is to open one of the ceiling tiles, you should feel significant air movement.
If this is the case, the wrong ceiling tiles were used and should be replaced for tiles meant to withstand air movement like that.
It’s dead skin that flakes-off of people.
The skin you are wearing now is less than a week old.
It could be paper dust. We used to print a lot large reports on a dot matrix printer. Handling those reports caused paper dust — but if they have a lot of dust on everything everyday it’s probably not paper dust.
