my 8month old daughter just hit her head and has a blue bruise, should i take her to the hospital?

My 8 month old daughter is furniture walking and just hit her head on are bar stool, she is ok but she has a blue bruise on her head that can instantly. should i take her to the hospital?? i am worried about it but she is acting normal, and playing.

Head injuries can be scary, but it sounds like a good sign that she is playing and acting normal.
If I was you, I would call the nurseline 8-1-1 (we have this in BC, Canada) Hope you have a nurse line too. They will ask you questions about the injury and asses whether or not to take your daughter to the hospital/emergency,
If you don’t have a nurseline, I think it would be a good idea to take her to a walk-in-clinic to get her checked out.

It sounds like your daughter will be just fine. She had a nasty hit on the head and a bruise would be expected. Put some ice on it to stop the swelling and if you see the swelling or bruise doesn’t go away then I would consult a doctor. Hope she gets feeling better =)
sounds like she will be fine, how weird that she already has a blue bruise,
if she starts being sick, or looks in anyway abnormal then phone her doctor, otherwise just keep an eye on her and low a long period of time before you let her sleep just in case
my 2year old son has hit his head so many times scared me everytime. once he even had a huge bump and little blood once and hospital said he was fine and needed no treatment, i am sure your daughter will be fine.

its seems like she’s okay. but just watch her for the next couple of days make sure there’s nothing different in her behavior (is she sleeping more and more, not playing actively…. and such) if she’s doing everything just the same, i wouldn’t get worried.
Dont worry-it a bruise comes there’s nothing to worry about…and there’ll be plenty more as she starts to walk!!
apply some ice with a cloth and she’ll be just fine!
You should worry if she hits the back of the head….and seems to lose consciousness…
