if I wanted to paint (not spray) a design on plastic patio furniture..?
Hi there. I love to free hand paint and I would like to paint on plastic tables, chairs, benches, etc. patio furniture.
I know I should lightly sand the surface – making sure it is very clean – and prime. I know that much.
However, I want to paint a design with a paintbrush – not spray paint.
Anyone tried this? Which paint would I use and how can I make sure it will last?
thanks for any help folks!

I thought about freehand painting my wood bench. An outdoor Behr paint from Home Depot with a marine poly finish should seal it.
verathane colours in plastic…. but for best results, use a plastic primer, then paint the whole thing a solid colour, then paint your design on it
I have no idea, but the paint with a solid color is the best here. All the resin furniture will "degrade", or change color over time. I wouldn’t my time painting unless I had protected the entire item before I started.
