37) I have some 3-legged stools and an even number of 4-legged chairs. If I have exactly 29 legs of furniture, how many stools and how many chairs do I have?
I need the explanation too…. =D

(3,5) works but not for the question, which requires an even number of 4-legged chairs.
x : 3-legged stools
y : 4-legged chairs
3x +4y = 29 : y = 2,4, or 6…any more and x is negative
y = 2 => x = 7 (the answer)
y = 4 => x = 13/3 (not possible)
y = 6 => x = 5/3 (not possible)
2 chairs and 7 stools
2 four legged stools
and 7 three legged stools
3 stools and 5 chairs is also an answer
