I am trying to find out the name of a 1970′s era british tv comedy sketch show.?

He was allways starting out the show sitting in a Bar stool type chair. Told a few jokes as he drank his Whiskey. The other wierd thing is that he was allways swiping "those little buggers" off his legs. If was kindof a joke.
