How long should I build my bar for 4 stools?

I am building a bar in my basement. How long should I make the bar to fit 4 stools/chairs?

Hello….bars are soooo much fun….A common measurement used in restaraunts and nightclubs for occupancy designations is 2′x2′x2′. So if you wanted to build a bar that seats 4 people comfortable…8 feet minimum but 10 feet for elbow room at the bar…Just food for thought… a standard height is usually about 42 – 44 inches.
figure at least a foot and a half for each stool.
