We had our dining room table & chairs in storage and mice decided to enjoy our furniture along with using the chairs as their rest stop. So now we are trying to get rid of the awful smell…any ideas??

Well….if you’re sure you still want the dining set (I would not want it anymore, myself), you can remove the odor with Lemon Scented Pine Solâ„¢.
Pour undiluted Lemon Scented Pine Sol into a spritzer bottle and spray your crawlspace with this.
Scrub if you want, but scrubbing is optional.
Allow to dry. Repeat if necessary.
Small warning: the scent of the Lemon Pine Sol will be overwhelming for a while…but the urine smell will be gone once the Pine Sol scent dissipates — not covered up, but gone.
You might have to repeat a couple of times, but this works.
Make sure you use the Lemon Scented Pine Sol, not the regular scent.

You don’t say if they are plain wood or upholstery on the seats. But…Use vinegar in a spray bottle to mist the surface. If its upholstery, use the vinegar with a touch of dawn dishwashing detergent and lightly blot. Let air dry and repeat until the odor is neutralized.
Vinegar works on all urine odor.
Pick up some enzyme cleaner at a pet store, There are directions on the label on how to use this product. Enzymes will consume protein stains, such as blood, urine, feces, vomit. You can also call a carpet/upholstey cleaner that uses hot water extraction in the cleaning process. they can treat the stains and then extract the fabric. Go to the IICRC web site, here you can locate several in your area and call for estimates. They should be certified in upholstery cleaning, have taken classes and passed exams. They can furnish proof of certification upon arrival at your door. Good Luck
Were they in a commercial storage place? Because if so I would complain, threaten action etc to get cost of replacement or if you wish repair covered.
If it wasn’t then, I personally would replace them if I could afford it. If not, the tips above sound good! Good luck! There you were thinking it was it storage and really it was in use all along!
