How do I get my “Mad at you for taking me to get a shot” cat to stop peeing and pooping on my stuff?
I took my cat to the vet a few weeks ago to get an allergy shot. She doesn’t go to the vet very often. At the vet they did a full work-up for her annual check up. The blood work and stool test came back clean, so she’s not ill. I believe she’s mad at me for traumatizing her. She’s only peeing and pooping on -my- stuff. My bedroom chair and the rug that’s right outside of my room (she pees there when I tried shutting my door :/). I don’t know if she’ll start peeing on the household furniture now that I have removed the now ruined rug (she’s peed and pooped on it beyond redemption) and barred her access to my bedroom. Is there any way that I can make her happy, or not mad at me so that she’ll stop peeing on my stuff?
Additional Info: I have not changed her litter or anything about her litter box. There have been no significant changes in household routine in the past few months.

I’d be a bit skeptical that there isn’t some physical reason she’s doing this as it’s unusual for cats to hold such a severe grudge for so long.
I’d ask the vet if she could be having a reaction to the shot.
If it is indeed out of spite, or insecurity really, the way to go is to make her feel more secure. Don’t yell at her. Don’t do anything negative when she goes outside of her litter box. Be extra nice to her and spend a lot more time with her.
If it is a "spite" problem she’ll stop doing it when she feels secure again.
lmfaoo…
pee and poop on her stuff.
Your cat probably does that because it annoys her… The shot seems to annoy her, you know? Or she is telling you that you should pay more attention to her…But I’m not sure…I tried to answer my best.
