i’ve known this one guy since i was in high school, so about 7 years now. as far as I know, he has never had any feelings towards me, and I’ve never had any for him. But within the last weeks or so, I’ve found myself strangely attracted to him and I have no idea why.

Me, him, and a third friend were supposed to go out, but the third one bailed, leaving just me and this guy from high school. I thought it would be awkward at the bar since we were never THAT close (always hung out in a group setting), but we actually talked the whole time and laughed a lot. Not that I’m a master at body language or anything, but I noticed that half way through our conversation while we were sitting at the bar, he turned sideways on the chair and put his one foot on the rings of the stool i was sitting on. He then said he was going to ask me to his office work Christmas party the following day, but decided he didn’t want to go. I then said I would go and he was like "oh really? that’s awesome. i’m actually excited for this party now. i thought it was gonna suck." we then met up with other friends at a different bar, where he got my drinks. but saw him talking to another girl for a short bit. when i was dropping him off after the bar that night, he said that i was pretty.

the next day at the office party, he came and picked me up and even go out of his car to come get me at my door. I didn’t realize that he would do THAT. i haven’t had someone do that to me since prom in high school, so i was really surprised. he also texted me again today.

Does he sound at least a tad interested? I can’t tell since we’ve known each other forever.
