How can I get my kitchen chairs clean and not feel crusty or sticky?
I covered the staind up chairs I have in the kitchen. Well my 4 yr old likes to wipe his sticky hands on my chairs. How can I get the fabric clean without having to take all the chairs apart and take the fabric off and stick them in the washing machine? When I do that my time could average about 4 hours just unscrewing the chairs and putting them back on after washing them. It consumes way to much time and makes for a lot of frustration.

Try Woolite upholstery cleaner and a soft brush. Scrub well, then rinse with a damp terry towel.
I clean chairs. Get an upholstery cleaner (rented or bought) that can water clean them. I’ve done over 100 chairs in a day that were in a high school cafeteria (in other words, pretty filthy)
Most important. . .train him to not use your chairs for napkins! Til then, use a bath towel as a cover while he’s eating. Good luck!
