DOG EATS EVERYTHING. any help?
Okay so we just got a puppy a couple months ago.
He is a black lab, almost 3 months old, and he has a chewing problem…
HE LITERALLY EATS EVERYTHING..
-just some of the things he has eaten
* The computer mouse, [grabbed it off the counter]
* 7apples [also grabbed off the counter]
* ripped the entire zipper off my jacket
* Chewed a hole through the wall, [can stick your whole hand outside]
*started ripping up the vinyl floor. [ covered it with tape, also ripped that off]
* Chewed the handle off the hot tub cover.
* Broke a leg off one of our bar stools, [ by gnawing on it until it broke into two]
If you have any idea of what we can do to stop his chewing, that would be great!
literally, this puppy is eating us out of house and home!

get bitter spray at petco and spray with that. It worked for me
make sure he has plenty of toys dog bones and keep your counters cleared off good luck
Believe it or not – obedience training.
EVERY puppy that age chews on things…..everything in sight is a chew toy to a puppy. Why is this puppy being allowed free run of the house when it can’t be watched? Pups that young either need to be crated when not supervised or closed off into a puppy proofed area. You also need to properly exercise the dog so when you aren’t around it is sleepy rather than frustrated.
Get a puppy training book and read it thoroughly or this is not going to improve. It’s up to you to teach your dog not to chew…..they don’t come trained.
