chin up bar starting tips?
I have a chin up bar and have never been able to do full blown chin ups but I really want to lose some (arm) flab. I was just wondering if anyone has any starting tips on the chin up bar because i get quite nervous just hanging from it and have to use a stool to get up there..so nothing adventurous please!

If you are unable to pull yourself up, I would recommend lowering the chin up bar. You might also want to check this out: http://www.chin-up-bar.whistie.com/
find the proper momentum to get up there. the stool sounds like a major problem, lower the bar if you can.
