Called a tweaker? How would you react?
I was at a friends for the super bowl with my boyfriend and all of his friends and my friends friends. Us girls were all sitting at her kitchen bar chatting and I was sitting there being a little quiet because I was bored and these girls aren’t really my kind of girls so there wasn’t much we had in common to talk about. I guess I was tapping/shaking my foot on the bar stool, I’ve found I do that when I’m bored or whatever. Neways my "friend" grabs my leg, and says "why are you shaking for foot?" I say "I dunno, I do that sometimes", and she says "jeez you look like a tweaker". Yea she’d been drinking a little but still. THEN she asked "Do you do drugs?" And she was dead serious, with both things she said!! Like hello lets put me on blast in front of all these girls I don’t know! I have done stupid things in the past and did some stuff, nothing hard but neways,I def. don’t any more and said "no" but my face got red because that kind of threw me off and she’s like "yes you do!! Your getting all red!" OMG I was so mad that she would insinuate that just from me shaking my foot and put me on the spot like that…Maybe its not that big of a deal and I’m over exaggerating but I don’t really want to kick it with her anymore if she’s gunna think things like that and just say stupid sh*t, would you?
Noooo that wasnt "they’re way of accepting me into their group" they all looked at me like "what?! You do drugs?!" And they didnt laugh either..

Wow they’re idiots and don’t know what a REAL tweaker does. a real tweaker is scratching, nervous, and stutters a lot, and they usually SEARCH for drugs and say things like "You got drugs?" and/or beg for cash/drugs.
So basically Tweaker means someone that needs/is begging for drugs so much that they are twitching and shaking, and are not calm.

When someone calls you tweakers, start acting like Tweak (South Park) and sing the underpants gnomes song. That’ll throw them off.
this might sound weird… but when they all laughed and said "yes you do!! your getting all red"
That was their way of letting you know that you are welcome in the group.
It’s kinda weird when people tease you good naturedly, (not in a bad way). it’s like they are giving you a chance to be laid back and easy going and then you’re in the group.
Just smile, don’t be so uptight and be more easygoing.

That is absolutely messed up that these girls did that to you, you definately should tell your boyfriend about this experience…maybe he could talk to the boyfriends of these girls.
That so called "firend" is a jerk! You definately should talk to her about how rude and insensitive she was about that. How it made you feel..if she can’t understand.
SCREW her. You don’t have to be friends with these girls, just be civill…they sound like the caddy-type. Similar situation here…
